You can customize the colors of your wall, mounting surface, and other exterior finishes to make it pop, but the dials and the frame will always be a rich, velvety matte black that looks great in any environment. About Installation
- How is it mounted? The Everbright mounts directly to a flat, sturdy wall using a supplied French cleat system. See installation details.

- Where should we install it? The Everbright works best in open, visible, high-traffic areas where people gather, wait, or pass through. → See real-world installations.
- Can it go on a curved wall? No. The Everbright must mount to a flat surface.
- How much space do I need? That depends on the size you choose, but as a rule, you’ll want clear access to the front, about 6 inches of clearance on the top and bottom, and enough room for people to gather and interact. See installation details and requirements.
- Does it require an electrician? Most likely. The Everbright needs its own outlet, ideally placed so the cord stays hidden. It also requires a way to power off daily—either a wall switch (recommended), a circuit-level timer, or our wireless switch add-on. - Can it be moved after installation? Yes. If you want to move it to another room or another building, you can. Just remove the cleat from your existing wall, and make sure you have an electrical outlet in the new location as well as a power switch. (If you order your Everbright with a remote switch, you may be able to move it to a new location without ever needing to call an electrician.)

- Can kids use it? Yes! It was designed with unsupervised packs of 11-year-olds on field trips in mind. Children, adults, elders—everyone can engage.

- Does it get dirty? The textured acrylic surface naturally resists fingerprints and smudges. You can use Sani-Cloth wipes to meet hospital infection control standards, but it never looks visibly dirty.

- What if it’s left powered on too long? Plan to power it off every day. If you don’t, the memory card could get corrupted. It’s also best for the power supplies if you power it off when the building is not in use. Read more.
