The Everbright is engineered to withstand years of hands-on interaction in high-traffic environments. It has been installed in museums, libraries, and science centers—some of the most demanding public spaces—where it’s handled daily by thousands of visitors, including unsupervised school groups.
Our current edition has been shipping since 2018, and long-term field testing has confirmed:
- The dials are impossible to remove by hand—they’re secured with industrial-strength screws.
- Pixels rarely need to be replaced—one to two a year in the busiest spaces.
- Low-maintenance by design—no loose pieces, no hourly resets, and no constant supervision required.

- One-inch thick cabinet-grade plywood for the interior framing.
- A high-performance, super-dense engineered wood—commonly used in luxury interiors for its durability and rich, uniform color—for the exterior frame and dials
- High-quality LEDs from a trusted manufacturer—we’ve used the same supplier since 2018.
- Power supplies rated for 500,000 hours of operation—and they’re replaceable if ever needed.
2 | Modular Design = Easy Maintenance
Unlike many interactive installations, the Everbright’s modular design isolates most issues to a single pixel.
- If one dial stops changing color, all the others still work.
- Each pixel contains 24 LEDs (8 per color), so even if one LED fails, the pixel remains functional.
- Replacing a pixel takes just 2 minutes—no specialty tools or technical expertise required.
📌 How do you replace a pixel?
1. Lift the Everbright off the wall (requires two people).
2. Remove two screws from the back panel.
3. Swap out the pixel module.
4. Replace screws, reattach the panel—you’re done.
3 | Rugged Exterior, Simple Repairs
The Everbright is designed to be touched, turned, and played with constantly.
✔ Dials don’t come off. They’re locked in place.
✔ If something does happen, we’ll ship you parts fast. Vandalism is rare, but if needed, we can overnight replacement parts.
✔ To extend lifespan, turn it off nightly and keep it in a climate-controlled space.
💡 In the design phase of a new building? Consider recessing the Everbright into a wall with rear access—making servicing even easier.

4 | Free Replacement Parts for 3 Years
Your Everbright includes a three-year warranty covering all replaceable parts and free shipping on any replacements.
📌 What does that mean in real life?
- Most installations won’t need a single replacement pixel in the first three years.
- Even in high-traffic spaces, our data shows an Everbright Classic (476 pixels) needs, on average, only 1 to 2 pixel replacements per year.
- If you need a new pixel? We ship it to you, free of charge.

6 | Support After the Warranty
Once your three-year warranty ends, you’re still covered.
- Replacement pixels are expected to be available for approximately $12 each.
- We own the design and components, so we can continue supporting your Everbright for years to come.
How to Spot a Pixel That Needs Replacing
We recommend running a test pattern once a year:
1. The Everbright will cycle through all colors.
2. Any outliers will be immediately visible.
This is the easiest way to check—without manually turning every dial.
